RYE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

  • Pinkham Hall Renovations and Addition:  transformation of the 400 student Upper School including a new 15,000 sf wing defining the eastern edge of a new outdoor room. The wing contains science labs, small classrooms, offices, lounges, and a 125 seat multipurpose theatre.

  • Performing Arts Center:  transformation and expansion of the original 400-seat theatre into a 450 seat auditorium with improved sightlines and acoustics.  A new two-story entry lobby serves as an art gallery and gathering space.

  • Renovation of the Upper/Middle and Lower School Dining Rooms.

  • Renovation of the Upper/Middle School Library.

We have been working continuously at Rye Country Day since 2007 and have completed several projects that have transformed the campus and enhanced the academic mission of the school.

Rye Country Day is college prep school serving 900 co-eds (grades pre-K to12) founded in 1869. The 26 acre campus is constrained by major highways along its southern and eastern edges, limiting the potential for expansion.  Our campus planning efforts have helped Rye find ways to expand existing buildings or add new space to meet the school's changing needs.
